Curry Ridge

Curry Ridge is an easy trail to find.  Easy hike.  5.6 miles "Lost" a little.   I start going to the right, but then turned around and went left at the post.  Better choice!!  The post don't tell you which way to go.  Both paths go to the top, the path to the right takes longer.

Curry ridge is at the end of Kesugi Ridge

In the bottom pictures you will see me eating Fiddleheads and Fireweed. DON'T eat fiddleheads until you cook them for 10 minutes. I didn't get sick, but could have, I now own a book. hahah  I don't mind being eaten by a bear, but I do mind dying from eating the wrong plant.    No, I would not have died, but I might  have felt I wanted to.  haha
Also in the pictures below you will see a moose, she had give birth to twins right before we got there.
the last picture is my dog in her own sleeping bag.   They do sell dog sleeping bags, but you can make your own.  I bought a sleeping bag at a yard sale, cut the top off, restitched it, reenforcing the zipper, and wala, G had her own bag.

Donnelly Dome

Donnelly Dome is on Military land, so you do need a pass to access it.   Go to alaska-highway.org/donnelly-dome/    Once there, sign into Usartrak and obtain a pass.

2.7 miles, the start is straight up, then levels off The view of course is priceless!
