ALWAYS bear spray
Dog lead - for the most part she runs free, but to be on the safe side, I do take her lead along.
I could not find a camp spot in Seward, the Salmon derby was going on. Seward was packed, so I went up to Carter Lake trail head and car camped. Gypsie was ok with that. We were going to hike out the next morning.
The path was pretty easy, and the view incredible
Getting water and cooling off.
The fireweed looked beautiful, even if it was dying
Purple pinecones
She will walk in the water, but not swim. so I tossed her off a small ledge :D She swam to shore.
